ClearForge respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. This page describes how to send a copyright infringement notice for content hosted on clearforge.studio or processed through the ClearForge Service.

This mailbox is a product placeholder for alpha. Designated agent registration under 17 U.S.C. §512 (if required for your jurisdiction) will be completed with formal legal review.

What to include

A valid notice should include at least:

1. Your physical or electronic signature
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to locate it (e.g. account email, session/track ID, object URL if known, date/time)
4. Your contact information (name, address, telephone, email)
5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
6. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed

Our process (alpha SLA)

• Acknowledge valid notices within approximately 2 business days
• Remove or disable access to material that is the subject of a valid notice, when we host or control access to that material
• Notify the uploader where feasible and allow counter-notice procedures consistent with applicable law (details may expand in counsel-reviewed policy)
• Repeat infringers may have accounts terminated

Counter-notification

If you believe material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, email dmca@clearforge.studio with a counter-notification including your contact details, identification of the material and its prior location, a good-faith statement under penalty of perjury, consent to jurisdiction of an appropriate court, and your signature. We may restore material if the complainant does not seek a court order within the statutory period.

Misrepresentation

Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing (or was removed by mistake) may expose you to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys’ fees.
